Family, friends and fans of Paul Walker will have to wait a bit longer to get closure on the tragic death of the much-beloved star.
That’s because his autopsy isn’t scheduled for today or anytime this week as of yet, Celebuzz has learned.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office told CB! that Walker’s autopsy and that of his campanion won’t be completed Monday. It could be Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest, but nothing has been scheduled.
Why the delay? Because the docs are very busy.
“The doctors had more cases than they could handle for today,” a representative for the coroner told Celebuzz.
The coroner also does not have dental records yet to make a positive identification of the remains, which were badly burned in the car crash.
It’s been reported that professional race car driver Roger Rodas was reportedly behind the wheel of the Porsche Carrera GT when it hit a tree and burst into flames.
The world has been mourning the sudden loss of the 40-year-old actor since Saturday when he and his business partner in the car customization venture, Always Evolving, reportedly went for a spin in the red sports car near their shop in Valencia, Calif. during an event for their charity, Reach Out Worldwide.

Only moments later did people rush to the scene as the car was engulfed in flames. The Fast & Furious star’s rep confirmed his passing, however, police have yet to confirm if Rodas is the other victim.
In a heartbreaking moment, the late star’s close friend and co-star Tyrese Gibson paid his respects at the crash site on Sunday, holding back tears as he left flowers in Walker’s memory.
